Instructions for Setting the PC Desktop Wallpapers from the Vault
Use the following guide for choosing which wallpaper image to use as your desktop.
Widescreen: Use the 1920 x 1200 image for widescreen monitors set at 1920 x 1200, 1680 x 1050, 1440 x 900 and 1280 x 800.
Fullscreen: Use the 1600 x 1200 image for fullscreen monitors set at 1600 x 1200, 1400 x 1050 and 1280 x 960.
Fullscreen 1024 x 768: Use the 1024 x 768 image.
1. Save the Wallpaper image to a folder on your computer's hard drive.
2. Click Start at the bottom left side of your monitor.
3. Then click on Control Panel.
4. Click on Appearance and Themes.
5. Click Change the Desktop Background and the Display Properties window will come up.
6. Go to the Desktop tab.
7. Click Browse and locate the image saved to your hard drive.
8. Under the Position pulldown menu select Stretch.
9. Click Apply, OK.
Windows 7 Users
1. Click Start at the bottom left side of your monitor.
2. Then click on Control Panel.
3. Click on Personalization.
4. Click on Desktop Background at the lower left hand side of the screen.
5. Browse to the Picture Location where you saved the image.
6. Click on the image you want as your desktop.
7. Choose Fit or Stretch.
8. Click Save Changes.

Instructions for Setting the PC Desktop Wallpapers from the Free Gallery
1. Save the 1024 x 768 Wallpaper image to a folder on your computer's hard drive.
2. Click Start at the bottom left side of your monitor.
3. Then click on Control Panel.
4. Click on Appearance and Themes.
5. Click Change the Desktop Background and the Display Properties window will come up.
6. Go to the Desktop tab.
7. Click Browse and locate the image saved to your hard drive.
8. Under the Position pulldown menu select Center.
9. Click Apply, OK.
The 1024 x 768 image will not completely fill a monitor that is set to a resolution higher than 1024 x 768. For higher resolution images, consider becoming a site member by subscribing to the Vault. VAULT Members ~ Instructions for Setting the iPhone Wallpaper
1. Save the Wallpaper image to a folder on your computer's hard drive.
2. Connect your iPhone to your computer.
3. Launch iTunes & click on the Photos tab.
4. Click on Sync photos from:
5. Choose Folder & locate the folder that has the iPhone wallpaper image in it.
6. On your iPhone, locate the image in the Photos section of your camera.
7. Choose the wallpaper image and you should see it full-size on your iPhone's screen.
8. Tap the wallpaper image to show the menus.
9. Tap the little icon in the very left-hand side of the bottom of your iPhone's screen.
10. Select Use As Wallpaper.
11. Select Done.
VAULT Members ~ Instructions for Setting the PSP Wallpaper
1. Save the Wallpaper image to a folder on your computer's hard drive.
2. On your computer, open Media Manager for PSP 3.0
3. Attach your Sony PSP to your computer using a usb cable.
4. Turn your PSP on.
5. On your PSP, go to Settings and down to USB Connection. Press the X key. This will take you to the USB Mode.
6. On your PC, choose Open and View Files.
7. Browse to the folder where you saved the Wallpaper image.
8. Click and drag the image to your Photos folder on your PSP.
9. Close Media Manager for PSP 3.0
10. Disconnect your PSP from your PC by clicking on the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the lower right hand corner of your computer screen.
11. Click on Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device popup and then click on the X of the next message that pops up.
12. On your PSP click the circle button to get out of USB Mode. Go to Photo and down to Memory Stick.
13. Go to the folder that has the wallpaper image in it. Select the image you want as your PSP desktop.
14. Click on the Triangle button, then go to the Set as Wallpaper icon which looks like a squarish white blob with a cross of dots on it. (There is also an arrow in the right hand lower corner of the blob). Press the X button. Choose Yes. Then choose circle to go back.
VAULT Members ~ Instructions for Setting the iPod Classic Wallpaper
1. Save the Wallpaper image to a folder on your computer's hard drive.
2. Open iTunes.
3. Under Devices on the left hand side, select your iPod.
4. Click on the Photos tab.
5. Tick (check) Sync photos from:
6. Select Choose Folder and browse to the folder with the image in it.
7. Select All Photos radio button to put all the folder's images on your iPod Classic.
8. Click Sync which is in the lower right hand side of iTunes.
9. Disconnect your iPod Classic as usual.
I have the Brightness setting of my iPod Classic set to 71% and I think my images look great at this setting. So, that is what I recommend to you so that you get the most out of these wallpapers.
